Janet Lee Kemp, M.D.
Dr. Kemp is a problem solver who has been practicing for more than a decade in the Ohio area. She has experience treating a variety of conditions including but not limited to: mood disorders (anxiety/depression/bipolar), Autistic Disorder, ADHD, substance use, and challenges with life transitions/stressors. Dr. Kemp provides makes every effort to provide tailored and attentive care. Her goal is to achieve positive response for every patient so that they can live their lives to the fullest.
Dr. Janet Lee Kemp is a licensed, board certified (in adult, adolescent and child specialties) psychiatrist. She graduated Valedictorian from Cleveland Heights High School. She obtained her medical degree through an accelerated 6-year combined B.S./M.D. program from Kent State University and from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). From there, she moved to Chicago to complete a General Adult Psychiatry Residency at Northwestern University/McGraw Medical Center in Chicago. Afterwards, she moved back to her hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio and completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and served as Co-Chief Fellow. Since psychiatry is a constantly evolving field, Dr. Kemp attends conferences regularly in order to keep current with evidence-based practices. According to Dr. Kemp, “I believe that it is important to look at the person as an individual rather than a diagnosis, and to tailor the treatment accordingly.”
